Neighbour Rosicky By Willa Cather

This is too beautiful a story. I think women like this kind of sentimental story. Rosicky likes Polly, his daughter in law, and Polly likes Rosicky. Their relation is  too amiable and warm. They admire each other too much. I don’t think this does not describe the real world, which is severe and harsh.

The point of view of the writer changes so often, from Rosicky’s view to Polly’s and then to Dr. ED’s. The reader is forced to identify with a different character one after another.
