Significant Moments in the Life of My Mother by Margaret Atwood

 Mixture of the writer's remembrance of her young days and her present thoughts about them. The anecdotes are funnly but her philosophy behind them are difficult to understand. However, on the whole she mingled them well. Her mother enjoys talking about her daughter nonchalantly, but the daughter does not always enjoys it. Rather she feel ashamed hearing them. Her world and her mother's world are quite different. Mother clinges on her past while the daughter loves to analize each anecdote

This is a collection of her anecdotes and her comments about them. As a whole I did not enjoy the story.
