THE LOST SYMBOL by Dan Brown

Dan Brown again exhibited his vast knowledge about symbology presenting the reader series of puzzles covering from ancient Egyptian symbols to Greek letters. The tatooed man turns out to be Solomon's son near the end of the story. This is a surprise. Another amazing thing was the mathematical square. (I saw the square at the back gate of Sagrada Familia built by Gaudi.) However, the Lost Symbol is not so interesting as his other four novels. This is only a puzzle solving novel. One solution of mysterious symbol leads to another mystery, and the last solution leads the reader to one final word, "bible." Gradually accumulating expectation about the final solution that will tell the secret of life, the seceret of the world, the final goal of human being is disappointed.
